Designed and tested PCB boards, including transceiver, modem, power distribution, gamma-ray detection, and resistivity acquisition circuits for SLB’s down-hole drilling tools. • Validated analog and RF circuits by implementing LabVIEW-based test benches and probing using network analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to ensure proper circuit functionality. • Conducted failure analysis on the power distribution board of a resistivity acquisition tool, identified issues with the comparator IC, redesigned the circuit and implemented the changes to mitigate failure in the oil field operations. • Solved yield issues with the transmitter board on the resistivity acquisition tool, through careful component selection to attain better tuning and redesigning the test procedure for the inductor measurements.
