I live to be free — in mind and in spirit. This love for freedom shows up in my work every day. It drives me to take risks, keep learning, stay open to new ideas and experiences, and continually transform the environments I work in.This mindset has shaped a career path that’s been delightfully chequered and deeply enriching. I’ve had the good fortune to work across a wide range of industries — media, consumer products, advertising, professional services, technology, and travel — each adding a new layer to my learning.Along the way, I’ve built hands-on expertise across sales, brand strategy, marketing and communications, advertising, events, social & digital marketing, and leading large teams. By a happy quirk of circumstance (and intent), I’ve also had the opportunity to build marketing functions from the ground up in my last two roles @ Sapient & EY — an experience I found immensely satisfying and energising, especially for the entrepreneur in me.Today, my focus is on scaling two passion-led ventures — Friends of Marketing and Afra Tafri. One fuels brands. The other fuels adventure. Both are driven by curiosity, courage, and growth.

   Afra Tafri is an adventure-travel & outdoors company. Our motto is – Don\'t just travel, EXPERIENCE. Our USP are theme-based itineraries and virgin, unexplored destinations. We also operate in the fields of outdoor & adventure consultancy, outdoor gear & equipment, resort management and eco-tourism. Owned by people with over 20 years of travel & outdoor experience, Afra Tafri\'s vision is to be renowned for our creative travel concepts, innovative experiences and transformational tours. Some interesting trips we have done recently are cycling from Manali to Leh, mother-daughter bonding trip, corporate off-sites on the sand dunes of Rajasthan, river rafting on The Ganges and Zanskar, among others. Our team includes experienced trekkers, mountain guides, rafters, kayakers, birders, cyclists, itinerary planners and CPR trained staff. Our values are honesty towards our clients, integrity towards our promises, and flexibility towards your plans & care for the planet.
