Education can change the trajectory of a life, especially when teachers recognise potential and invest in it. Having benefited from that kind of mentorship, I returned to my alma mater to teach Psychology, a full-circle experience that shaped a lasting commitment to helping young adults find their “happy place” in an increasingly complex world.Over nearly two decades, my work has spanned schools, universities, non-profit initiatives, and the private sector, operating at the intersection of K-12 education, higher education, and global opportunity. From teaching and college counselling leadership to internationalisation strategy, research and global capacity building, the focus has remained on supporting students at critical transition points while helping institutions respond to evolving aspirations and mobility patterns.My work is constantly grounded in the belief that meaningful global opportunity is created through thoughtful engagement between schools, universities, and education organisations. By building bridges across systems and geographies, the focus remains on advancing pathways defined by fit, readiness, wellbeing, and long-term success- enabling institutions to prepare young people not just for the next step, but for the world they will shape.
