I grew up in Punjab, India, and after finishing high school, I chose to continue my education in Canada. I also love soccer and staying healthy by working out regularly.With my associate\'s degree, I started my career in the growing oil and gas industry. In just two years, I became a Logistics Supervisor. Wanting a new challenge, I decided to work at Chemelex, formerly known as nVent Thermal, as their Warehouse and Facilities Manager. I have developed a strong passion for supply chain and logistics because this field constantly changes and excites me. The constant changes present new challenges to tackle, helping me build essential relationships with others in the industry. Working in such a fast-paced environment requires quick thinking and skill to ensure products move smoothly from one place to another.I am returning to school to complete my associate degree and convert it into a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in supply chain management from 2022 to 2026. This education will help me gain more knowledge and skills in this area. I want to learn more about the basic, intermediate, and advanced principles of supply chains, logistics strategies, and the new technologies that are changing the industry. My courses will give me a strong understanding of managing inventory, buying goods, distribution, and global supply chains. By earning this degree, I plan to develop better analytical skills and learn best practices to help me solve challenging problems in supply chain management. I am especially interested in improving supply chain networks, using innovative solutions, and enhancing operations.
