Relief studies and flare network sizing.Job Profile:• Manage a team of process engineers to achieve the project deliverables on schedule and within the stipulated manhours• Point of contact to the project management team for project issues pertainging to the Process discipline• Mentoring and developing the fresh engineerts and to provide on job training• Responsible for developing PFD’s, process & utility P & ID’s• Perform hydraulic and line sizing calculations• Perform Equipments sizing, Process design calculations, pump hydraulics & NPSH calculations, using standard procedures• Perform basic plant simulations for generation of PFDs and Material and Energy balance using softwares like HYSYS • Overpressure protection study to estimate protection requirements as per industry standards e.g. API, estimate relieving capacity and relief valve size, preparing relief valve datasheets• Review vendor documents for pumps, compressors etc.• Prepare documents and reports such as equipment list, line list, Process Design Basis, Operating, Control and Maintenance Manual• Develop Operation and Control Philosophy, Alarm and Trip Schedule,Cause and Effect diagram and Tie in list Document.• Prepare Equipment and Instrument datasheets• Involve in control logic development and preparation of Cause and Effect Diagram & Alarm and Trip Schedule• Effectively coordinated with other disciplines for data, analysis and review comments and promptly resolved most of the complex concerns. Includes closure of design review comments, HAZOP comments, Model review comments, etc.• Provided weekly status updates about the project execution, scope and schedule changes to the Project Management department and respond to their day to day queries• Worked for national & international clients. Directly cordinated with client for resolution to queries.• Proficient in interactions with other engineering teams (local and international), experienced in working and collaborating with global project teams
