About Amrendra Kumar Gupta

After watching my uncle work as an engineer in Northern Coalfields limited, I was inspired to take up Engineering as more than a hobby. I loved putting together raw material to create something new. I decided to step into the automotive industry because of the speed of the cars and of the industry itself excited me. I did my graduation from Pune University in Production Engineering. In the project I chose, I made a moulding machine with dies. My passion for higher education did not die there, so I did an MBA. After that, I worked with various companies and was fortunate enough to gather a lot of knowledge as well as practical experience- Have experience of 26+ years in the field of operations - Worked with Maruti Centre of Excellence team for adaptation and implementation of Maruti Production System (MPS)- Have taken TPM training under Prof. Yamaguchi San (TPM Guru) of Japan - Trained under Japanese trainers on improvement activities - Was chosen to take Toyota Production System training in Japan, went to Japan for the same In the future, I wish to expand my knowledge and experience and leave behind something for those following in my footsteps.
