As a Trustee for the charity, I have overall responsibility alongside my fellow Trustees for the governance and financial stability of the charity. I specialise particularly in HR, equality, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, wellbeing and ultimately people. I have also been given the responsibility as the board Freedom To Speak Up Guardian, to ensure voices of diverse staff are heard, and actions undertaken to allow people to flourish. I remain hugely passionate about ensuring the charity is representative of the local people of Rochdale and that service users get the best possible support.
