Amorell Saunders N\'Daw is a seasoned leader and experienced consultant with broad experience in management, public relations, corporate governance, equity, diversity, and inclusion as well as human resources. She has held senior management roles for government ministries, broader public- sector organizations, public relations agencies and a national search firm. Amorell held several senior roles at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), including the inaugural role of Director of the Office of the Principal & Vice-President, UTSC. She also served as Director of Governance (UTSC) and Assistant Secretary of the Governing Council, U of T. Amorell’s unique combination of training and experience is sought after by organizations looking for dynamic, strategic and pragmatic counsel, facilitation and training that’s delivered with panache and precision.A trained journalist who speaks English and French, Amorell completed her Master of Education degree at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, with a focus on adult education and community development. She has a certificate in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University. Amorell strongly believes in engaged citizenship and for more than a quarter century, she has either worked for or served on Boards of Directors. She served on the Central East Local Health Integration Network (CE LHIN for five years, including as Board Vice-Chair. She served on the Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University-TMU) Presidential Task Force on the Legacy of Egerton Ryerson and has been recognized as an outstanding volunteer and alumna with two awards of distinction. In 2023, she was appointed to the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) Board of Directors for a three-year term.
