ABOUT AMON KILLEEN
Mr. Amon Killeen is currently a Department of War Defense Fellow for Congressman Morgan Luttrell (TX-08).Mr. Killeen has also served in or supported (as a consultant) Policy offices in the Office of the Secretary of Defense for over 20 years. Regional offices: African Affairs, Europe & NATO, South and Southeast Asia, and Western Hemisphere Affairs. Functional offices: Counternarcotics and Global Threats, Counternarcotics and Stabilization Policy, Nuclear and Missile Defense Policy, Stability Operations, and Strategy. Before entering government service in 2011, Mr. Killeen was a consultant at LMI Government Consulting and DFI Government Services, where he provided research and analysis for the Departments of Defense, State, and Homeland Security. Mr. Killeen also worked for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs on democracy-promotion programs in Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. He taught English at Yunnan University in Kunming, China, and studied in Banjarmasin, Indonesia. Mr. Killeen earned a Masters of Science in National Security Strategy with Distinction from the National War College at the National Defense University. He received a Masters in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College, where he concentrated in Religion and East Asian Studies.
