About Amol Talekar
Having Graduated as an Architect in went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Design from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and then spent a good 8 years working for few of the finest Design Houses in India namely - Elephant Design, Ratan Batliboi (RJBX+EuMo), Hafeez Contractor and WD Partners India and then started a Design Enterprise called Vertex in Pune in Jan 2011 offering Multi Integrated Design Services from Architecture, Interior Design, Product Design, Retail Design, Fixture and Furniture Design & Project Management - a boutique Design House who quickly understands a Client\'s Brief / Requirement and provides a Solution within a stipulated time frame and importantly taking the Full ownership of the Assignment. Thus being in the Design Industry for over 2 decades and having handled large Township Projects with Ar. Hafeez Contractor to Designing a Wall Clamp of a Retail Fixture, the macro to micro level assignments have helped become a Sensitive Designer to that particular assignment and which is the one of most important talent one needs to develop to remain relevant in the Design Industry. On one hand busy offering Multiple Design Services to various Corporate and Individual Clients, and on the other, mentoring students from various Design & Architecture Schools, taking Industry Relevant Academic Courses for few of the well known Design Schools and conducting Webinars for budding Design Prodigies on Basic Design Foundation and helping them crack Design Entrance Exams and help increase the Design Talent in our country.
