Current Role & Responsibilities:• Handling Online and Interline Pricing Actions for below markets:1. Joint Pricing Alignment of Jet Airways and Etihad Ex-India to Gulf and Middle-East2. Ex-Europe over Brussels Hub for fares to United States, Canada, India, SAARC and South East Asia3. Ex-SAARC to Rest Of World• Handling Pricing and Distribution Actions of Tactical Fares, Year Round Fares, Web Fares, Corporate Fares, Negotiated Fares, Group Fares and Package Fares• Fare and YQ Analysis of Competition/Benchmark Carriers through various tools like GDS, SITA and Oracle Tools• Ensuring ‘Fare Comparison’ reports and analysis is done and maintained for Competition/Benchmark for OnD’s• Introducing/Initiating fares in market for existing and new routes and SPAs with an in-depth market analysis and calculation of online/trunk route retention as against Yield and check dilution if any• Working closely with sales department and analyzing the proposals made by Local Sales Offices and ensuring the same is in line with the Company Policy, Yield and Seat Factor and also enhances sales and revenue• Check the ‘Fare Performance’ report of the existing and newly introduced fares and analyze the continuity/discontinuity of the same• Liaising with different departments like Sales, Revenue Optimization, Fare Filing, Audit and Revenue Accounting team to ensure smooth functioning and streamline pricing activities.• Maintain and distributing of circulars to the various Local Sales Office and General Sales Offices• Identifying competitor price changes, perform analysis to determine and develop Jet Airways reaction and implement decisions, also check the Booking Forecast and Passenger Flown Data and check the market share• Handling various ‘Pricing Promotions’ activities across different sales channels• Analyzing existing and new SPAs and checking the profitability of the interline fares after checking the Chart 2, Class/Seat Access and calculation of the respective payouts
