Guided clients as a reliable advisor on public procurement and contract management so that critical infrastructure projects, search and rescue operations, strategic partnership and empanelment process can be successfully accomplished. My key few achievements during FY 23-24 are: Managed to support clients in the procurement process and in the award of contracts to the tune of Rs. 3,364.17 Crores for important infrastructure.Developed a broad compendium of guidelines regarding public procurement, which is very valuable for the clients and stakeholders.Developed and delivered inspirational public procurement good practices training sessions that empowered the client staff with improved skills and knowledge.I continue with client support on several tenders and give strategic advice to the internal teams regarding effective public procurement and contract management which ensures an uninterrupted process and the best results.My key few achievements during FY 24-25 are: Improved response capacities across the state by award of contracts about 18 types of equipment/services for disaster preparedness valued Rs. 317.86 Cr. With over 98% units of equipment/services planned was delivered within the time. Saving against the estimated value about 6%(AA Vs. Award Cost)

ABOUT AMOL NAWATHALE
Coming from a small town, I always had aspirations to grow in life. My journey started with audit, accounts and the practices that come with it. The early years also gave me great exposure to both the urban and the rural working since my experience went deeper towards public procurement. Learning the variety of facets surrounding it gave me the learning from project planning to implementation. This brought me from the deeper area of Maharashtra to the financial capital i.e, Mumbai. In the last 2 decades, I’ve contributed in the areas of procurement processes for consultancy services, civil works, goods, non-consulting services, and public-private partnerships. On projects, my lean approach has largely contributed to the huge cost savings. I have managed quite several externally funded projects spread over the geographical areas of Odisha and Maharashtra. I am governed by two core professional values: ethics and transparency. I make sure that all my activities are: ↳ compliant, efficient, and open. The skillsets that have served me well over time include strong analytical ability, excellent negotiation skills, and clear communication. I keep myself updated with changing laws and best practices in public procurement to ensure optimal outcomes. I am working to ensure value for money in developing collaborative relationships with all stakeholders in and out of my organization. We can, together, have an impact on people\'s lives.
