Key Responsibilities:1. Preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects, including labour, materials, equipments for Process equipment’s like Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, FRP Tanks, Rubber lining Tanks, Distillation Columns, Heat exchangers, Skids, Structures, Piping with Instruments and Control and Manual Vales, Reactors with Agitators, Flare system- EPC ( Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil work & Site installation with Commissioning activities ).2. Conversant with items used in projects such as Plate, Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, Hardware, Gaskets, Pumps, Blowers, Control & Manual valves, Transmitters, Pressure Gauges, flowmeters, Thermocouples, Enclosures, Junction Boxes, All Cables, Cable trays, UPS, AC, Fire Fighting system components & etc.3. Assist in the preparation of Pre engineering BOQs as per customer / Tender requirements.4. Review, analysis and validation of tender specifications to ensure compliance and accurate cost estimation.5. Vendor Contact development.6. Coordinating with approved vendors of (EIL, ONGC, GAIL, SAIL, HPCL, IOCL) for all Raw material and bought out Mechanical Electrical and instrumentation items to get competitive quotations in line with Specifications. Either Suggest for the Equivalent Cost Economical Vendors.7. Review of vendors Offers and Its Compilation for the Costing.8. Maintain and update cost and vendor databases. Create and float the RFQs for various material/Bought outs & Site contractors for Services required.10. Follow up with suppliers to get Technically Compliant quotations.11. Development of new suppliers for various product categories or services.12. Participate in pre and post bid projects meetings as and when required.13. Coordination with Sales, Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation, Quality, Purchase, Production and Logistics departments for required data.14. Preparing and uploading Budget of post bid projects during execution in SAP-ERP software.
