Assist and report to FnB Manger for all Food & Beverage activities including 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 6 Banquets hall and room service.Responsilbe for running weddings, private functions, meetings and other events taking place in the conference centre including Christmas & New Year parties.Responsible for daily operation while on shift, daily supervision, coordination and direction of outlet team members in the relevant areas scheduled.Conducting departmental orientation and training for employees of banquets, restaurant and room service.Responsible for situational handing and providing best possible solutions.Assisting FnB manager with staff related issues and their satisfactory resolutions.Conduting staff appraisals and on job training for the staffConducting interviews for the jobs in F&B department.Assist in controling payroll cost for the F&B department through creating a culture of multitasking and fexibility.Assisting conference sales coordinator with booking of functions, taking function enquiry, doing show around and resolving any billing queries.Role included budgeting for department and involved preparing P&L report with the GM for all outlets. Also involved costing of department in terms of staffing, menus and other Managing food and Beverage operations within budget and to the highest standards.
