ABOUT AMOD SHILEDAR
I am an avid automobile enthusiast with a deep passion for Vehicle Dynamics and Control Systems. With a strong Mechanical Engineering background and hands-on experience in designing, simulating, and testing vehicle dynamics systems, I specialize in suspension, steering, and braking system development.My journey in vehicle dynamics started with my role as Lead Brakes Engineer and Vehicle Dynamicist for my college’s E-Baja motorsports team. I developed and validated braking and suspension systems, utilizing tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, SolidWorks, and Ansys, which contributed to our team earning a national runner-up award.Currently, I am the Vehicle Dynamics Lead at Deep Orange, where I develop and integrate semi-active suspension, Brake-by-Wire, and hybrid powertrain systems. I have designed and implemented control algorithms, validated them using HIL testing and on-vehicle testing, and integrated them into ECU-based controllers using New Eagle Raptor tools.My expertise lies in vehicle dynamics modeling, controls development, vehicle testing, and real-world validation, and I am always looking for opportunities to push the boundaries of performance, safety, and control systems in modern vehicles.
