About Aman Sharma
I am motivated by building platforms that last, improving the reliability and clarity of the systems around me, and taking ownership of hard engineering problems end to end so that the people using the product experience something that feels simple and dependable.At Oracle Health and AI, we built the Clinical AI Agent, an AI driven system now used by thousands of physicians across hundreds of healthcare organisations to generate near real time clinical documentation while physicians are with patients. I have helped evolve its first generation workflow engine based orchestration into a Kafka driven event platform using Java, microservices and cloud native services on OCI, bringing end to end workflow latencies down from several minutes to consistently sub minute behaviour from p50 to p99 at production scale.Before this, I worked on Oracle Digital Assistant, focusing on high availability messaging and channel infrastructure. I led the development of the Apple Messages for Business channel end to end, from architecture and integration through a stringent certification process with Apple, which enabled Oracle to become an approved Messages for Business provider.Early in my career, I had a brief stint in applied science at Amazon, working on forecasting problems for time series data, but my focus today is firmly on systems and platform engineering.Outside work, running is how I reset and think clearly, and many of my better architectural ideas have arrived somewhere in the middle of a quiet 10 to 15 kilometre run.

I\'m one of the original engineers behind Oracle Health\'s AI-driven Clinical Documentation platform, Clinical AI Agent now used by thousands of physicians across hundreds of healthcare systems. My recent work focuses on evolving the platform\'s orchestration layer - shifting from OCI WFaaS to a scalable, event-driven architecture on Kafka. This transition significantly improved system throughput and reduced end-to-end documentation latency across P50–P99, bringing it down to sub-minute, setting the foundation for the platform’s next stage of growth.
