Joined the team for Article on the Hinkley Point C are specialized components within the BNI piping system, comprising over 35 component families Developed and maintained Bill of Materials (BOMs) for BNI, managing families and sub families, some of which include quick couplings, commissioning filters, forged endplates, Special wall penetrations plates, multiple and single flow restrictors, flame arrestors, fire equipment, Standard fittings etc, ensuring design validation, accuracy, and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. Led technical meetings with contractors, including Bilfinger and other sub-suppliers, to resolve issues related to procurement, manufacturing, and technical queries (TQs). Managed Early Warnings (EW) to proactively identify and address engineering challenges, ensuring timely communication, weekly feedback, and minimizing project disruption Conducted P & ID reviews and utilized PDMS/E3D for comprehensive design validation and technical assessments, collaborating with UKDC and OPMS to resolve design-related issues efficiently while ensuring adherence to project requirements. Conducted document reviews, including calculation notes, engineering drawings, equipment dimensional procedures, test procedures, and quality-related documents, ensuring compliance with NPS/NPE, RCCM, ASME and HPC-referenced standards. Managed data packages for equipment families and oversaw document distribution and control via Team Center, ensuring integrity, accessibility, and version control.
