ABOUT AMMAR AHMAD

As a student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at IIT Patna, I am passionate about problem-solving, competitive programming, and building innovative solutions in software engineering and machine learning. I’m currently preparing to join Sprinklr as a Product Engineering Intern in Summer 2025, where I look forward to contributing to impactful, real-world projects in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment. Currently, I’m working on Gesturio, an interactive web app that promotes inclusive education and helps break down communication barriers by teaching Sign Language through real-time gesture recognition. Other projects I am proud of include development of a scalable Faculty Recruitment Portal, Terrain Recognition for Military purposes, Debt Minimisation in a group and AI-Based Real-Time Transcription Tool for Video Conferencing. Some notable achievements include winning the Saras AI Hackathon for our gesture recognition project, finishing as runner-up at the CRISIL Hackathon for a malicious URL detection system, qualifying for the Amazon ML Summer School 2024, and achieving Specialist rank on Codeforces. I’ve also contributed to various impactful projects, including the websites for TedX IIT Patna and the app for Anwesha IIT Patna, as a sub-coordinator of their development teams. With a strong foundation in computer science principles from a prestigious institute, I am skilled in languages like C, C++, and Python. My hands-on experience includes working with Flask and machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and OpenCV, enabling me to develop sophisticated applications.
