Oversee FP & A activities for Cancer (4 locations and 4 sub-service lines) and Laboratory (45 locations). Partner with business leaders and executive management (BODs, CFO, COO) to align financial results with strategy. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and short/long-term planning for ~500 employees and ~$200m in revenue. Track the insourcing of healthcare services, resulting in savings of ~$1m for the first year, with projections of ~$10m over a 5-year period. Evaluate resource planning to optimize providers (physicians) and non-providers (support staff) in-line with operations. Oversee CAPEX (~$8m) and OPEX requirements for clinic openings as per growth plans. Work with multi-disciplinary teams including IT, HR, Supply Chain, Facilities and Project Management. Assess supplier contracts for financial efficiencies including consolidation and master agreements. Lead financial planning to automate and centralize services to achieve operational and financial efficiencies. Responsible for developing and leading detailed financial models for service line projects. Provide regular and ad-hoc management reports and analysis. Recommend financial system enhancements for improvement in processes and procedures. Evaluate service line financial and operational performance using KPIs. Support decision-making by providing key strategic financial inputs via board presentations and decks for the corporate team (United Healthcare and Optum).
