I am a passionate Eye Care Professional, Guest Lecturer, and Vision Care Entrepreneur with over 9 years of experience in clinical optometry, community eye health, and optical business management. Currently, I serve as a Guest Lecturer at Charnock Health Institute and Desun Hospital, where I deliver hands-on clinical sessions and academic lectures to optometry students. My goal is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world clinical practice. I have worked with prestigious institutions like Sankara Nethralaya (MESU Project – Mobile Surgical Unit) and Disha Eye Hospital, where I contributed to mobile cataract surgeries, vision screening, and rural eye care outreach. I’m also the Founder and CEO of Maa Durga Eye Care and Optical, a growing vision care clinic in Kolkata focused on providing affordable and accessible eye care services to both urban and rural populations. My core strengths include clinical optometry, teaching, public awareness, optical retail, and team leadership. I am passionate about developing India’s next generation of eye care professionals through mentorship, skill-building, and patient-centered learning.
