ABOUT AMLAN SAHOO
Hi, I’m Amlan! I have recently completed my Master’s in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence from University College London (UCL).I am fascinated by how autonomous systems see and interpret their environments. Therefore my main interests lie in Computer Vision, 3D Reconstruction and SLAM. I have also explored Legged Robotics and Model Predictive Control.Currently, I work as an Applied Research Intern at Elm Europe. My primary engagements revolve around Structure-from-Motion, 3D Gaussian Splatting and Natural Language Grounding to build high fidelity Digital Twins. Before this, I spent just over three years at Publicis Sapient as a Software Developer in an SRE team, where I developed strong software engineering, automation, and system reliability skills.If you’re interested in robotics, AI, or just want to chat about tech (or football!), feel free to connect.
