ABOUT AMIYA RANJAN SAHOO
I’ve always been drawn to solving problems—finding patterns and using data to understand what drives outcomes. That curiosity has shaped my career in analytics and BI, where I’ve spent 7+ years building dashboards, predictive models, and data systems that help teams make clearer, faster, and more confident decisions.I’m currently pursuing my MS in Business Analytics at the University of Utah, focusing on SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, machine learning, and scalable end-to-end data workflows.Across finance, HR, education, and aviation, I’ve led data initiatives that include building forecasting models, automated MIS systems, and executive dashboards that improved visibility, accuracy, and operational performance. I also earned recognition in a Data Analytics Competition, where I developed Tableau dashboards to analyze workforce demographics, turnover trends, and key attrition drivers. What motivates me most is partnering with teams, understanding real business challenges, and creating data solutions that improve efficiency, strategy, and decision-making. If you’re interested in data-driven problem-solving or impactful analytics work, let’s connect.
