Data/AI/ML professional with a passion for end-to-end ML solutions, delivering impactful stakeholder-focused outcomes through complete ownership. I am a Senior Data Scientist with 5 years of experience currently working at Walmart Canada, specializing in Generative AI, ML Engineering, NLP and Graphs. andI develop data-driven solutions that optimize fulfillment, enhance customer engagement, and streamline operations across eCommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Fulfillment. My work drives innovation, supports informed decision-making, and includes end-to-end delivery of projects and MLOps. I am committed to sharing knowledge, fostering a growth-oriented culture, and leveraging cutting-edge tools to achieve results. At Walmart Canada, I have led impactful projects, including the development of multi-agent Generative AI solutions that optimized 2.5B+ of GMV and unlocked $2M+ new revenue. These solutions have directly improved operations for over 400 stores, benefiting thousands of associates and customers. I excel at understanding stakeholder needs and delivering solutions that significantly impact KPIs. I hold an MSc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where my thesis on Explainable AI for retinal diagnosis earned the Dean of Science Award. I’ve authored 12 peer-reviewed publications, including a Best Paper Award at MICCAI and a book chapter, with over 1,250 citations. I am also passionate about the ethical and legal aspects of AI, advocating for its responsible use. Born in Punjab, India, I dual-majored in Computer Science and Economics at BITS Pilani before moving to Canada in 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, mountain biking, photography, and staying updated on the latest advancements in tech and automotive innovation.
