1) Designed a multi-region, multi-cluster TSDB solution using VictoriaMetrics, replacing InfluxDB and Prometheus. This led to annual cost savings and handles 1Tr+ datapoints and 2M+ active series.2) Built a distributed logging system using the ELFK stack, aggregating logs throughout infrastructure (~50TB). Achieved 0% log loss without adding replication, through cost-effective engineering strategies.3) Revamped downtime alerting/reporting system to reduce the delay from ~8m to ~2m.4) Designed and implemented an intelligent Looker User License Management Service to optimize BI tool access across the organization. The system dynamically monitors user activity, tiered license usage, and automatically grants or revokes access based on real-time usage patterns. This ensured efficient license utilization, reduced manual overhead, and maximized ROI on limited Looker licenses.5) Led a key initiative to enhance revenue reporting accuracy from ~90% to 99.9%, and decreased report generation time from ~12 hours to ~3 hours.6) Scaled and maintained a high-throughput Event Delivery Service, reliably processing ~400 million data packets daily.7) Engineered an automated BigQuery access management system with multi-level approval flows, granular access control (RLS/CLS), and real-time grants/revokes. Reduced TAT from hours to minutes, adhering to least privilege principles.8) Developed and maintained custom ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, enabling seamless RDS to BigQuery syncing from any EC2 instance to power downstream analytics.9) Delivered executive-level visibility by creating one-stop Looker dashboards consolidating engineering KPIs and financial reports through ETLs across multiple sources, following visualization and performance best practices.10) Established a Cost-Usage governance framework, introducing cross-team visibility via metrics, alerts, and dashboards. Enabled accurate platform cost distribution across all org teams.
