Amit is a Global Fujitsu Distinguished Engineer and Head of Business Incubation at Fujitsu Research India Private Limited (FRIPL), where he focuses on AI, Quantum, and other advanced Fujitsu technologies. Previously, Amit served as Head of AI, where he played a key role in building and growing Fujitsu’s AI capabilities in India. He has a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and driving AI, Generative AI, cloud, middleware, and digital transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact at scale. Amit brings together deep technology expertise and an ecosystem-led business perspective. His current focus is on connecting Fujitsu’s advanced research and innovation strengths with external partners to enable co-creation, commercialization, and real-world deployment of emerging technologies. He has also served as Fujitsu’s AI Brand Ambassador in India, as a member of the Global Fujitsu AI Taskforce, and on the APAC AI Ethics Committee. A sought-after speaker and thought leader, Amit has been invited to speak at premier platforms such as NASSCOM, the Indian Chamber of Commerce, the OECD, and leading academic institutions. He has also contributed to joint initiatives involving government and industry bodies such as NASSCOM, C-DAC, and AICTE, helping shape AI skill frameworks, certifications, and national occupational standards, including the National Program on AI Skill Framework.
