About Amit Kumar Rathi
I bring along 20+ years of post-qualification experience which includes ~15 years in the broad PE / VC investing and M&A either as an Investment Banker, Diligence Advisor or as an Investor, along with experience in audit and accounting. During these have gathered experience in deals across multiple industries, multiple deal sizes (from very small deals to large billion dollar deals) and complexity level.I am currently with Unitus Capital which is an impact focused Investment Bank which has consistently topped the league tables on deals done and was awarded as the Investment Bank of the Year. At Unitus we raise capital for Companies which impact the low income / under served community. This is my second stint with them and was with Unitus earlier between 2010 to 2016. Prioro to that I was with Elevar Equity which is thesis based investor focused on delivering essential services to disconnected communities underserved by global networks. Connecting these communities will greatly expand the global networks and drive worldwide economic growth over the next decade.Was earlier part of the founding team at TVS Capital funds where my experience spread from fund raising to investing. In my earlier stint KPMG, I was a part of diligence team and specialized in infrastructure deals (i.e. Healthcare and Power sector deals). Initial years of my career was with Ernst & Young and The World Bank in audit and accounting assignments.From an academic perspective, I am a Chartered Accountant and have cleared my CPA exam from the state of Michigan.
