I\'ve spent 13+ years building products and teams that scale - starting as an engineer writing code, and growing into a leader who builds the systems, processes, and people that make great engineering happen consistently.My career has taken me through some of India\'s most demanding consumer internet environments.At Nielsen, I took over a 32-member globally distributed engineering team across South Korea, the US, and India - inheriting a team that needed a leadership reset after years under previous management. I stabilised operations, reorganized the team to align with the Digital and AI vertical, and built the team\'s first consolidated tech and product roadmap.At Myntra, I led Discovery Engineering for one of the highest-traffic surfaces in Indian fashion e-commerce - owning PDP, Search Experience, Recommendations, Size & Fit, Virtual Try-On, and Growth experiences for millions of users daily.Before that, I spent 7+ years at Snapdeal - one of the most formative experiences of my career. I grew from Senior Engineer to Engineering Manager, but the defining moment was during Snapdeal 2.0. When the company went through a near 80% workforce reduction, I was one of the few senior engineers trusted to stay and rebuild. I took ownership of the buyer multi-tier web + mobile engineering team and kept delivery going through one of the toughest pivots in Indian e-commerce history. That experience taught me more about leadership, resilience, and execution under pressure than anything else.What I care most about as a leader is building teams that don\'t need me to function - autonomous, self-managing engineers who take ownership, ship with quality, and grow into leaders themselves. I\'ve mentored engineers at every stage, and watching someone get promoted or step into a leadership role is the most satisfying part of this job.On the technical side, I stay close to the stack - mobile and web platforms, high-scale backend services, reliability engineering, and performance optimisation are areas I\'ve worked in, not just managed from a distance.

   Took over a 32-member engineering team spanning South Korea, US, and India - previously led by a Director of Engineering for 7-8 years. Managed through a direct report manager and senior ICs across mobile, web, backend, and data engineering.Stabilized the team through a difficult leadership transition - inherited gaps in planning, bandwidth management, and cross-team collaboration. Introduced structured planning cadences, clarified ownership boundaries, and established clear engagement models for cross-functional work.Reorganized the team to align with the Digital and AI vertical\'s ownership. Mapped the full application landscape, identified systems that didn\'t belong in the vertical, and collaborated with senior engineering leaders across other verticals to transition ownership cleanly.Identified and escalated a Sev-1 data quality issue on the iOS metering app where compromised data had gone undetected since 2024. Drove root cause analysis, proposed the fix, and coordinated across multiple teams to resolve it.Created the team\'s first consolidated tech and product roadmap for CY26 - identifying critical gaps in architecture, observability, and quality hygiene that needed investment.
