The Senior Renewal Program, launching mid-July, is designed to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and dignified mental health care, addressing a critical community need.Responsibilities include building the program\'s foundational elements: clinical structure, staffing plans, operational workflows, and community outreach strategies. This position operates at the intersection of healthcare innovation and service, requiring close collaboration with hospital leadership, physicians, and community partners to bring this vital service to life.Key Responsibilities:* Designing and establishing a full-scale outpatient mental health department for geriatric care.* Developing comprehensive workflows for admissions, treatment planning, documentation, and discharge.* Building a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, nurses, and support staff.* Coordinating with hospital departments and community providers to build referral pipelines.* Ensuring compliance with Medicare, insurance, and state behavioral health regulations.* Preparing outreach, education, and marketing efforts across a 35–40 mile radius.* Promoting a care model that upholds dignity, emotional wellness, and independence for older adults.This pivotal opportunity allows the Program Director to lay the groundwork for a service that will profoundly transform senior behavioral health in the region.
