SHELL TECHNOLOGY CENTER BANGLORE- KIADB INDUSTRIAL PARK Serving as the HSSE Lead for service and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure at Shell Technology Centre Bangalore (STCB), ensuring strict compliance with Shell’s HSSE standards and protocols.Key Responsibilities: HSSE Leadership:Lead HSSE activities for service and maintenance of fume hoods, exhaust blowers, spot extractors, safety cabinets, and associated lab infrastructure. Shell Protocol Compliance:Ensure all tasks are executed in line with Shell’s Control Framework, Life-Saving Rules, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems. Risk Assessments & JHAs:Develop and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Last Minute Risk Assessments (LMRAs), and safety control measures for routine and non-routine tasks. Field Safety Execution:Monitor and supervise field teams during maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to PPE, barricading, lifting safety, and equipment isolation standards. Safety Communication & Culture:Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and LMRA sessions to reinforce a proactive safety culture among technicians and subcontractors. Emergency Preparedness:Support development and implementation of emergency response plans, incident drills, and chemical spill management protocols. Incident Reporting & RCA:Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective actions. SOPs & Inspection Protocols:Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), inspection checklists, and audit readiness documentation. Coordination with Shell Teams:Collaborate closely with Shell HSSE, engineering, and operations teams for planning, compliance checks, and performance reviews. Continuous Improvement:Identify HSSE improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.
