My practice area has primarily been Banking and Finance, both in the domestic as well as international market. An extensive law firm background has provided me with the opportunity to advise banks, non-banking financial companies, corporate entities, domestic and multi national funds and handle mandates on their behalf involving asset-backed finance, external commercial borrowings, corporate finance, project finance, structured finance, debenture issuance, securitisation and related advisory. Besides acting as lenders\' or investors\' counsel, I have substantial experience in representing borrowers and issuers. I currently focus more on strategic level discussions and leads the team on structuring, negotiation, documentation across financing and other investment objectives. As part of my profile, I also manage life cycle of transactions, devising litigation/enforcement strategies and advising senior management on business risks and key regulatory issues, as being part of the leadership team.
