   As a Director of Technology, I partner with customers in their transformational journeys to digital success. I work with the business teams to understand the challenges and the goals, and with the IT teams to understand the current IT backbone of the clients. I collaborate with the product team in strategizing and creating the product roadmap by providing required technical inputs. Technology Selection and the creation of lasting technical architecture that meets the current and future requirements are core functions of my job. The architecture is always balanced from all perspectives and views including development, quality, deployment, operations, business operations, etc.I also own the quality of the technical solution. I set up the standards, guidelines, and best practices for architectures, designs, and codes. I oversee the team of architects as they create the partial solutions and, lead the team of engineers during all phases.Building a team of high-performing technologists, inspiring and motivating them is an essential requirement of my role.Due to my deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud, I also own and run the global hybris center of excellence. In this role, I am responsible for building the capacity and capability in the rapidly evolving SAP Commerce Cloud platform. In this role, I work with internal Sapient teams to create point-of-views, value propositions, and reusable assets used by multiple teams. I, also, partner with pre-sales and sales teams and meet the executive level clients during the sales and pre-sales phases. I am responsible for all SAP Commerce related RFPs that get responded to by PS.
