About Amit Ahuja

Research Scientist with expertise in the areas of rheology of complex fluids (suspension, emulsions, pastes, Pickering emulsions, gels, powders), flow assurance (gas hydrates, scale formation, wax deposition), interfacial science, colloids and surfactant science, crystallization, multiphase systems, formulation and characterization techniques, and flow visualization techniques (microscopy and PIV).The central theme of my research work is rheology and flow properties of complex materials, where microstructures and fluid-fluid interfaces play prominent roles in the dynamics of these fluids. My approach is to probe the structure-property relations of complex materials using the tools of rheology, microscopy, interfacial measurements, calorimetry, tribology, particle size analyzers, and texture analyzers.
