ABOUT AMIT AGGARWAL

As a Associate Partner in Dhruva Consultants LLP in Delhi NCR and over 2 decades of earlier experience in with Big4 consulting firms, my domain / specialization is corporate and international tax advisory and compliance. I am a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and a Bachelor of Commerce (SRCC). I act as a trusted advisor by providing solution-oriented consultation on international and domestic direct tax issues and exchange control matters. I have advised multinational clients in diverse industries, like consumer markets, transport & logistics, engineering, automotive, defense, information technology, renewables, etc. I have delivered solutions to marquee clients in multiple geographies in North America, Europe, Middle East and ASPAC (including US, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Australia and Japan). I have demonstrated expertise in various matters like EPC projects, tax effective supply chain management (TESCM), global secondments, technology / IP transfers, effective tax rate reduction, and have numerous success stories on client litigation on international tax issues. In my last firm, I have been a core member of international tax policy and advisory groups such as BEPS, Excellence & Innovation, Regional Tax Advisor, GAAR, etc. and also contributed immensely for certain years to the Department of Professional Practice (DPP) of the firm for in-house technical support to the wider national team. I have coordinated for high value litigation for clients and engagement with Senior Counsels. I am a member of ITAT Bar Association Delhi. I have also authored multiple tax articles and research papers in leading tax journals like Taxmann and Taxsutra.
