About Amit Sontakke

It is always amazing to work with different industries across the globe and understand their business process. And, I always feel exciting and challenging to provide solution to a complex business process in SAP for these different industries.I have done my master’s in computer application and started working in SAP as ABAP developer. Working with different SAP partners on SAP implementation, upgrades, roll out, conversion and support projects, provide me an opportunity to learn new things and gain experience about verity of business processes. This journey gave me opportunity to play different roles in different SAP technology and business modules. I started my career as a SAP ABAP developer and then move to SAP SRM Techno Functional consultant. At present, I am currently working on SAP Master Data Governance module as solution architect. My specialties include quickly learning new skills and understand complex business process. Providing simple and rigid technical solutions to a complex business process in SAP is key strength to me. 13 years of experience in various SAP Modules as SAP Technical and Functional consultant. Lead 2 implementation, 2 upgrades to S4 HANA 1909 and one enhancement project as SAP Master Data Governance Technical Solutions Architect. Worked on SAP SRM upgrade to SRM 7.0, SRM rollout, SRM global support, lead test factory at offshore as techno-functional consultant for SAP SRM. Lead ABAP development in 2 ECC upgrade, 2 ECC implementation and participate in Unicode conversion and global support for ECC development.My key straight is leading a team of people from diverse technologies and make then work together to achieve best result out of them. Multiple engagement experience with global delivery model including offshore functional and development support. Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills with good communication and Time management skills with strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capability, Excellent Trouble shooting and debugging skills.
