Breaking News Management • Take quick decisions on what and how to air during live coverage. • Manage news tickers and live updates. Visual & Graphic Supervision • Approve visuals, graphics, and sound bites for presentation. • Ensure compliance with visual standards and legal guidelines. Managerial Duties 1. Team Leadership • Lead the editorial team in daily operations and during special events. • Handle team schedules, workflows, and performance reviews. Liaison with Bureau Chiefs & Field Teams • Coordinate with different regional or international bureaus for inputs. • Ensure seamless flow of information between teams. Crisis & Risk Management • Make editorial calls during legal, political, or sensitive situations. • Take accountability for content accuracy and newsroom ethics.
