Manage the OTC Derivatives confirmations team. Managing a team size of 30 FTE acrossEquities, FX, Rates and Credit paper confirmations- Ensure firm’s compliance with Global Regulatory Targets (EMIR, CFTC and FCA) by timelyissuance & execution of legal confirmations- Involved in various facets of operations including recruitment, system migrations, businesscontinuity planning alongside BAU management- Point person for multiple internal and external audits- Managed confirmation process migration from Korea and Mumbai branches- Capacity Management study conducted across all sub-levels of the process, thereby capturing aspects of the process needing automation and/or elimination - Created a PowerBI Dashboard for senior management view and easy governance- Created a common consensus across all regions (AEJ, EMEA, JAPAN and US) around theaging logic to be followed- Was the point person for 3 Internal Audits and closed off action plans related to these- Provide quarterly business updates for Confirmations- Part of the Rewards & Recognition forum for the Shared Services Unit- Managed an FRTB project around the Basel 3 norms around checking Master Confirmation agreements and confirms around Equity Swaps, through which the firm was able to plough ~6bln USDmargin requirement back into the business- Confirmation Matching automation ideation, testing and development performed for both signed confirmations received from the client as well as Counterparty-drafted confirmations. First-of-a-kind industry solution implemented through partnership with Technology, Front Office, Middle Office and Counterparties- Ensured that templates were prepared and finalized for consumption of the 2021 definitions, which required co-ordination between Trading, MO, Technology and Legal teams- Took over the IWM confirms process and automated ~70% of the templates. Helped scaleup automation around the templates from initial estimate of 4 trades a day to 40 trades aday
