   Lead GM Technical Center India Manufacturing Engineering (ME) organization that acts as extended arm of all ME centers across the globe (GMNA, GMSA and GMIO) to execute strategic workshare. Whole time Director - part of GMTCI board - Responsible for operations on behalf of board including local compliances. • Workshare scope is global GM. Focuses on - Design / Simulation / Engineering work to support Virtual Design Development & Validation, Enabling EV Transformation, Supporting Factory of the Future & Supporting launches. • Partner with global ME Directors, develop & deploy long term workshare strategies to leverage GMTCI for global launches. Focus on remote work and providing non available, critical skills to other regions for onsite support. • Foster safety culture. Keep people safe including the work they perform at GM plants & supplier locations. Deliver safe equipment to our plants to keep our operators safe.• Develop & implement hiring, training and outsource strategy to meet variable workload, timing, and cost. Enable teams to act as one global team. Initiate measures to drive employee engagement & inclusion. Drive plans to train teams on future technologies. Develop next level leaders capable to articulate & execute GMTCI vision and strategy.• Establish and oversee processes required to ensure successful delivery of work performed. Develop & meet score card metric (KPI) agreed with stakeholders to enable their successful product launches. Leverage Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) as primary management system to run the operations and continuously improve. Develop local suppler houses and leverage for variable workload and to manage cost. Train suppliers in other regions & improve their capability to support our plants and local ME.• Establish and manage yearly budget for GMTCI. Leverage low-cost advantage of GMTCI to enable global regions to meet their budget while executing higher workload.
