Main Responsibilities: Assist the Manager in developing the monthly Procurement Schedule based on the material forecasts received from all cost centers. Research materials according to the Manufacture list approved from the Consultant. Ensure that enquiries are sent to approve vendors and their quotations are obtained within specified time frame. Make comparison statements from various quotations received from the vendors. Review vendor’s quotations to determine best price, delivery date & approved brand without compromise on quality. Preparation of Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP from quotations received from the vendors. Release Purchase Orders with full specifications and commercial terms & conditions. Liaising with account department for opening of LC on time. Follow up for the delivery of the materials in the specified time frame mentioned in the Purchase Order. Verify all invoices received from vendors and ensure prices are correct as per Purchase Order. Creation of new material codes in ERP Material Master Data. Assist in developing and implementing procurement procedures and policies to maintain and enhance a procurement process in compliance with company goals and objectives. Plan, organize and direct the activities of the procurement and expediting function as well as provide training to staff to effectively implement company policies and procedures. Assist in developing strategic relationships with key vendors to maintain special pricing and volume discounts
