   At Carta, I work as a Software Engineer on the Cap Table Explorer, a platform that empowers legal and finance professionals to visualize equity ownership structures with precision. I design and develop RESTful APIs using Java 21, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL, supporting complex ownership breakdowns by share class and legal entity. On the frontend, I build scalable UI modules with Angular 16 and TypeScript, using lazy loading, interceptors, and dynamic form controls to create a responsive and interactive cap table viewer. I integrate Kafka consumers with Avro schema validation to process order events and ensure real-time data integrity, while implementing Resilience4j for fault-tolerant communication with downstream services.My responsibilities span full-stack development. I deploy containerized microservices using Docker and AWS ECS, leveraging CloudFormation and Parameter Store for scalable, secure infrastructure management. I also contribute to CI/CD automation with Jenkins, write robust unit tests using JUnit and Mockito, and monitor system performance through New Relic and Spring Boot Actuator. I collaborate across teams to document workflows in Confluence, lead backend-frontend handoffs, and uphold Agile practices.
