I worked here as Refractory Engineer in SRU,ARU,SWS & TGTU unit. I mainly worked in equipment like# Incinerator combustion chamber #Thermal Reaction chamber# Incinerator waste Heat Boiler #Claus Reactor #Claus waste Heat Boiler#Sulphur condenser #Hydrogen Reactor# BFW PREHEATER # Sulphur pit I was in a EPCC company mainly in a client role my main responsibility was to inspect the equipment before starting the job, check the surface preparation, Anchor dimensions, pitching and orientation, material physical condition, weather conditions, water temperature, ambient temperature, mixing temperature, formwork dimensions,size and its proper fixing, Application of potassium Silicate mortar, Application of proper lubricant for removal and smooth surface of lining, placement of material with the aid of needle vibrator. In sulphur pit there was special kind of Bricks & mortar Acid resistant bricks and acid resistant mortar we used mortar of Arcoy industries called Aroplex-K very hard bonding strength around 70k bricks and 30MT mortar used in Sulphur pit. My role is to do timely inspection of contractor work and make coordination with PMC and Owner for timely inspection and completion of Refractory work.
