ABOUT AMIT KARANNJI
I hold a Graduate Degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounts and Business. While at university, my passion for travel and tourism grew, leading me to pursue several specialized diplomas in the field, including globally recognized Standard and Advanced IATA/UFTAA certifications and an Airlines and Travel & Tourism diploma from a local institute in India.Before graduating, I entered the travel industry as a travel consultant in India, and later, after completing my degree, I advanced to managing a travel agency. My role encompassed managing both international and domestic flight bookings, hotel packages, forex services, visa and passport processing, and overseeing daily business operations. I also gained expertise using Galileo and Amadeus CRS.After moving to New Zealand, I gained valuable experience with roles at \"Fullers Ferry\", before joining a renowned global travel chain \"Flight Centre\" as a Ticketing Consultant. Over time, I broadened my experience by working in departments like Ticketing, Airfare Database, and eventually, as a Senior Marketing Coordinator. Following this, I gained additional skills through short-term roles at \"Stella Travels\" and \"Mondo Travels\", which helped expand my expertise in the field.Looking for a fresh challenge, I made the transition to the finance sector, joining \"Latitude Financial Services\", where I progressed from an Admin role to the Personal Loans team within Consumer Lending. Currently, I serve as a Finance Executive/Credit Analyst - Auto Lending at \"Avanti Finance\".Outside of work, I have a deep love for travel, having visited Japan (five times), Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Fiji, and the Cook Islands.Beyond my professional roles, I thoroughly enjoy my work as a YouTuber.
