   JWO is a check-out free retail experience powered by technology (vision and sensor-fusion AI) that allows shoppers to come in, take what they want, and just walk out (no lines, no checkout). Led engineering teams to invent, simplify, and scale JWO solutions to serve shoppers and customers. Enabled JWO to scale from one beta Amazon Go store in 2017 to 30+ large format grocery stores, 40+ urban convenience stores, and 100+ 3P stores, across 4 countries. • Developed multiple generations of weight sensor systems (to enable increased product selection, higher merchandizing density, and lower cost), including shopping hypothesis generation (w/ research team), bandwidth reduction (w/ hardware team) scaling, and in-store operational performance. • Innovated and built new JWO technologies like RFID-based stores to expand the JWO selection to sports merchandize. Launched pilot store in early 2023 and currently scaling to other stadium customers. • Built shopper session processing/orchestration systems that process millions of shopping events and generate thousands of shopper receipts daily. Scaled these systems to support large-format grocery stores. • Developed the Hypothesis Accuracy Prediction (HAP) ML algo/system to reduce human annotation effort by 50%. Simplified JWO technical systems, over three years, to reduce AWS costs and and operational load by 90%. • Demonstrated strong influence across the organization, leading cross-team initiatives, and programs to continuously improve key JWO metrics and deliver on organizational goals.
