Thus, SMERA became world’s first MSME focused rating agency and introduced the concept of SME Ratings in India. Today SMERA pioneers in MSME sector with rating entities of over in MSME space. SMERA offers Due Diligence And TEV to Indian MSMEs to help lenders take informed decisions. Our objective is to establish credibility & increase visibility of micro, small & medium enterprises. SMERA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Acuité Ratings & Research Limited (a SEBI Registered and RBI Accredited Credit Rating Agency). Acuité, a joint initiative of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Private Limited (D&B) and leading public and private sector banks in India.
