About Amit Awasthi
Possess an in depth pharmacology experience. Have an excellent understanding of neurodegenerative disorders, matabolic disorder, inflammatory pain. Presently managing planning and execution of efficacy experiments for drug discovery programmes. Working in the disease area of metabolic disorder (Obesity, diabetes and NASH) and xenograft cancer model.In doctoral research, I got good experience of animal pharmacology especially in the area of neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative disorders. I have tried to find out the etiology of neurodegeneration due to neuroinflammation and their impacts on animal cognition and behavior. I achieved a good exposure of techniques to assess the behavioral and cognitive aspects in neurodegenerative disorders. I am an excellent leader with strong interpersonal, communication and agile decision making and other managerial skills.
