ABOUT AMISHA PATEL

I am a CPA, recently being with a public accounting firm for 10+years, having specialized in audit and assurance services of two industries: not-for-profit organizations and associations, and employee benefit plans. I currently serve on the Executive Committee of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs. My not-for-profit and association experience included organizations of varying sizes and structures, including trade associations, membership associations, professional societies, educational organizations, charitable organizations, religious organizations, private foundations, political action committees, and LLCs and for-profit subsidiaries. I provided services including financial statement audits, audits in accordance with Yellowbook, internal audit services, agreed-upon procedures, and consulting on related accounting and auditing matters. My employee benefit plan experience included performing audit and assurance services for several ERISA plans, including defined contribution, 401k, 403b, defined benefit, SEC 11-K filings, health and welfare, and profit-sharing, including those sponsored by subsidiaries of public companies.
