I\'m a materials scientist driven by the challenge of turning advanced materials into scalable, manufacturable, and high-performance products. Whether it’s carbon nanomaterials, polymers, or protein-based biomaterials, I thrive at the intersection of research and commercialization — taking technologies from lab-scale concepts to production lines delivering tons of material.I’ve led teams through the full arc of development: discovery, characterization, scaling, and manufacturing with outcomes ranging from commercial recombinant silk to commercialized graphene-reinforced polymers. I’m at my best when engineering structure–property relationships, tuning interfaces, and designing processes that bridge nano to macro.Along the way, I’ve built and managed cross-functional teams, partnered with national labs, and never lost my passion for materials science fundamentals — especially when I get to geek out over XRD patterns, rheology curves, or phase inversion micrographs.I’m always looking to partner with bold teams building the next generation of functional materials, whether for sustainability, mobility, or electronics.
