About Amira Issa

I’m a Wealth Management Advisor at TIAA with over 15 years of experience in financial services. I consider myself a difference-maker, as I put my clients’ needs first and go the extra mile to ease their concerns and instill confidence in their financial decisions. I am passionate about helping those who serve our community, including those in health care and higher education, by helping them develop financial plans that take steps toward their ideal retirement. As a first-generation of immigrants to the United States, I’m proud to work with people in my community who are difference-makers too. I am also passionate about providing financial literacy for people from all walks of life. I take client conversations to a deeper level so that we can work together to create plans based on their needs, wants, and wishes. I earned my bachelor’s degree in international business with a minor in Spanish from Meredith College, where I was a student athlete. I went on to be a professional basketball player and Bronze medalist of the Philippines National Women’s Basketball team.
