As part of my Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, I provide face-to-face and online counselling within a community mental health setting. My work focuses on short-term therapeutic interventions (up to 16 sessions), with the potential for longer-term support where clinically appropriate.Key responsibilities include:• Offering a minimum of 4 counselling sessions per week• Working with clients in a supportive, non-judgemental way• Maintaining confidential and ethically compliant case notes• Attending regular clinical and line management supervision• Collaborating with admin staff to manage absences and service continuity• Actively engaging in self-reflection and using supervision to explore the emotional impact of client workThis role allows me to deepen my experience of relational, process-led therapy while contributing to accessible mental health provision in Bristol. I work in line with the BPS Code of Ethics and Bristol Mind’s core values of inclusivity, compassion, and empowerment.
