Quant focused on blockchain industry with idea of managing all the complexity behind the APIs which make customers independent of blockchain knowledge so that they can focus on their own business instead. Company is truly proud of working with Bank of England as one of the first enterprises who are working with its APIs.I joined Quant to work on their customer face application which was designed based on Laravel(PHP)/ VueJS(Javascript) at first and after six month, I have moved to another team who were responsible for implementing the new version of that customer base application from scratch. a new system designed by Spring boot(Java)/ VueJS(Javascript) has replaced with the previous one. I acquired new knowledge of working with Java/Spring boot framework during that process which helped me to take ownership of part of those changes- adding a new revenue stream to the company by implementing purchase journey to the new application and selling credit bundles which able users to buy them and call our core APIs. the bundles were available to buy with support of both fiat payment and also company’s own token (QNT)- Improving the credit calculation system by changing the calculation engine and running it semi-online instead of running it monthly- adding a new feature which helps users to create their own tokens on the blockchain with just a few clicks, then they will be ready to continue rest of their work through the company’s core APIs- Taking the ownership of branded new system which was implemented by a 3rd party in an internal Squad- Implemening branded new front-end from scratch with VueJS framework- Contributing with DevOps team to implement a full CI/CD pipeline step by step, by focusing on CD at first and doing the rest manually and then adding automated tests and making the process a real CI/CD- Keeping legacy system updated based on Product team change requests and improving its quality in paralel.
