I help Muslim brilliant minds/hearts — engineers, doctors, researchers, entrepreneurs — move from the state of Ghumma الغُمّة (Distress) to the state of Himma الهمّة (Sacred Determination) through nurturing the characters and dispositions necessary to uplift the Umma أمّة. I am Head-Leader & Mentor at Himma, Cambridge PhD Alumni, and Author of the Neoliberal Turn in Governing Islam (published with Oxford). Himma is more than a program. It Is a structured path of awakening — where Muslim seekers re-anchor themselves in meaning to operate an epistemological shift through Ilm, Adab and Suhba. My academic path (First Moroccan to receive a PhD with a full Cambridge Trust Scholarship, global teaching and research, thought leadership across continents) taught me to navigate complex systems.
